when samuel was born after the first six months i knew something wasn't quite right but didnt know what. it took until he was 15 months old before they finally sent us to the specialist and we were told samuel had a left hemi...i was devestated at first, blamed myself and then thought samuels life was doomed. Heather has had her Kaye walker for a few months now but in the last week or so has really taken off. She can now move really fast although has problems steering! She is now using it to get to and from the car and today had a really good physio session using her frame. After physio we stopped at the shops and as usual I said 'Heather,...

Had a visit from physio yesterdany now my little one has her leg splint we now have to work at getting her leg muscles stronger to help her also now gotta do stretches on her arm as it seems to have stiffened up and continue with physio on the foot every day as much as we can.

Woohoo! I'm back home after the operation, still in one piece! (well, mostly ;) )

I had the operation about 11:00 am on Wednesday as planned, went under the anaesthetic, and woke up ater with a splint kind of thing around my leg. Other than that, the rest of the day was highly un-eventful, and eventually I drifted in and out of sleep...
