Nicholas had his GAIT Videoing done yesterday. I am so proud, he done soooo well, And we also where able to see Professor of Orthopedic Surgery. Prof.H.Kerr Graham
Nicholas currently has 2 AFOs, and a posture problem (which is why we had the Gait Ann. done)
Professor Graham said that Nothing stops Nicholas, and that he is a 'robust little boy' and with Botox, and ONE new hinged splint (forgetting the right hand side!!!) he will be able to be better!!!!!
at the moment, 2 splints are complicating Nicholas balance, and the one hinged splint (L-H side) at the ankle, will allow him more movement.

At the moment we still do not know what Nicholas is 'classed as' we know he had a bleed inutero, but as for what 'type of CP' he has we will not know until we have the MRI done on Tuesday, and of course follow up with the Neuro surgeon.
I am so happy that we have made so much progress in a relativley short time, even though it feels like a million years, and that it doesnt seem to be as bad as we first thought, I mean who knows, they will sit down and discus what would benefit Nicholas the most, but at the moment we are really happy with how it all went..
