Well My Baby Turned 2 !!!!!

He had a fantastic day, he opened his many presents, (although I thought I had controlled myself pretty well!!!) He opened his Makka Pakka, and Iggle Piggle, among various trains, cars, etc.

I was video-ing my little boy, chatting to us, opening his presents and with each one came a WOW...

Well today was D-Day, Nicholas recieved his AFO's.

All went well, he was a bit apprehensive seeing the Orthotist, because when she had cast his legs earlier.

But I had explained to Nicholas, that we where seeing her, but we where getting his 'special splinlts'.

Our 'Star Courtney' (Nicholas' phsyio) met us there, which...

Ok, I am soooooooooooooo happy, emotional pleased,proud, and so so grateful, and more words than you probably want to read, BUT

Nicholas had another fortnightly physio visit, she mentioned that he is improving, with his ROM in his arm, and that he is using his hands together alot more, rather than using just his right hand.

Nicholas had casts taken last Friday for Bilateral Splints, (AFO's) we where praying that he only needed one, but when he was checked by Millie, the orthotist, she said he has ankle roll on both feet, (RS-HEMI) his effected LS, calf has weakness and he toe walks a bit, but also on the RS he has an issue as well.

I had a bit of trouble during my pregancie with Nicholas, at about 34 weeks he was deciding to come into the world. I then went onto a regime of Nifedipine, and a hospital stay. At 37weeks and 1 Day, Nicholas decided it was time to arrive.
