Woohoo! I'm back home after the operation, still in one piece! (well, mostly 
)
I had the operation about 11:00 am on Wednesday as planned, went under the anaesthetic, and woke up ater with a splint kind of thing around my leg. Other than that, the rest of the day was highly un-eventful, and eventually I drifted in and out of sleep first, then got changed and was fully awake a few hours later. I had a chocolate bar, PSP, Media Player thing wth movies, so life was complete.
Next day and I really wanted to get home. Really badly. I started walking, but nearly passed out. After having a good hours rest, we started slowly again.
I'm now back home, lying down on the couch bed, typing, tired amd catching up with the world.
I'll update the blog tomorrow or later today.
