I'm back!

Woohoo! I'm back home after the operation, still in one piece! (well, mostly ;) )

I had the operation about 11:00 am on Wednesday as planned, went under the anaesthetic, and woke up ater with a splint kind of thing around my leg. Other than that, the rest of the day was highly un-eventful, and eventually I drifted in and out of sleep...

Tomorrow!

The surgery is tomorrow! We went in for the per-admission, and made sure everything was checked out and prepared. Because I'm the oldest for morning surgery tomorrow, I get to go last! So I'm starving, bored, but I'll have a PSP my dad got for the family!

The surgeons actually had everything set that they were going to cut...

2 Days

 Wow, only two days! That's including the operation date, and not today.

I had another ride of the beach with the bike :D After recieving some discouraging remarks on riding it (you can't say 'You can ride a bike just because you can put one pedal in front of ther other', quoted from my mother), I actually don't...

4 Days!

Sorry, I forgot to update the blog yesterday, school ended for the week and I've been having some issues.

I just want to ask is it normal to have a extremely short temper, then bawl my eyes out after it? That's what I experienced yesterday, twice, but it's probably growing up

Anyway, we had a camp meeting yesterday. Sadly,...

6 days!

Anyway, I'm having it at Starship Children's Hospital (I'm relatively young, but not too young)....

1 week!

1 more week until the big operation! I've got Morrowind + 2 expansion packs for it to play on the laptop after surgery.

Now I'm used to the thought of I'm not going to camp, and that I won't be at school for at least until the end of the week after the op. 6-8 week recovery time I believe they said, and 2-3 days in...

Why this blog

Why did I make this blog?

Well, sometimes it feels lonely when no-one else is like you. I don't know a single hemiplegic person, nor someone as smart as me (except for 1 person). It's easier to talk about hemiplegia freely when you are in a community who understand what it's like.

A bit about me:
