Well, I'm procrastinating badly again, so its time for another blog methinks
Well, since I last wrote I have been doing some thinking and decided to quit playing one of the sports I love but am not particularly great at, American Football (dont ask... I seem to always take up sports that If I had any idea of personal safety, I wouldn't take up... but hey... I like the challenge of trying to do something that I really shouldn't be able to.. but thats a story for another day) and instead start training to see if I can compete in the national SN judo tournament next year.
Up until recently I hadn't been able to find any competitions like this one to compete in. The Paralympics only recognise Judo for the Blind, and up until recently I have only ever seen competitons that are open to people with mental disabilites. This one has a very interesting system for differentiaiting between levels of physical impairment, but the only draw back is that it places physical and mental disabilities into the same groups when they are divided up. I have contacted the person who seems to be heavily involved with all of the planning though, so hopefully I'll have more details on that soon to see if it would be too much of a risk for me to enter.
Anyways, I really should get on with the work I have to do... but then again... theres always facebook to play on....... oh well, i'm gonna get nothing done!!
