HemiHelp: Heather And Her Kaye Walker - HemiHelp

Heather has had her Kaye walker for a few months now but in the last week or so has really taken off. She can now move really fast although has problems steering! She is now using it to get to and from the car and today had a really good physio session using her frame. After physio we stopped at the shops and as usual I said 'Heather, I'm just getting the pushchair' - to which she replied.... "why I going in the pushchair, I got my walker!!" - this is the first time ever that she has shown that she thinks she should be walking rather than in her pushchair. A real breakthrough moment! Unfortunately we had roads to cross and little shops to negociate so I did have to use the pushchair and convinced Heather that she couldn't use her frame and eat her biscuits so she agreed to get in! My little sausage has really made me smile today.
